Select three dissertations. Two of the selections should be from Trevecca graduates (using the list supplied by Dr. Swink, Parrott, or Patterson) and the third should be a dissertation completed at another institution.
Write it in third person. Sariff or Times New Roman sized 12.
Write a one-page report for each dissertation. The report should include the following:
What was gleaned from this research
What did you learn about writing a dissertation
What did you learn in terms of formating?
Format and flow. Was it six chapters? What pattern do you notice? Certain methods did they use to write it.
The assignment should be submitted electronically to the Dissertation Coordinator no later than September 1st.
Dissertations should be less than five years old.
Scope out one that is qualitative and one that is quantitative.
